Local Vote Research is a web-based application that uses AI to compile publicly available information about candidates appearing on your local ballot and to generate a personalized voter research guide based on your stated values and priorities. The Service is intended to help voters conduct their own research on candidates more easily — particularly for lower-ballot races that receive limited media coverage.

The Service is provided for informational purposes only. It is not a news organization, endorsement body, political action committee, or advocacy group.

The Service relies on artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models and automated web search tools, to gather and summarize publicly available information. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• —AI systems can produce errors, omissions, outdated information, or summaries that do not fully represent a candidate's positions. The Company makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.
• —Candidate profiles, alignment scores, and voting guide recommendations are generated automatically based on the voter's questionnaire responses and publicly available data. They do not reflect manual editorial review, fact-checking, or human editorial judgment by the Company.
• —The AI may fail to locate information about candidates with limited public presence. A lack of information in the guide does not imply anything about a candidate's qualifications or positions.
• —AI-generated summaries of polling data and fundraising figures are drawn from publicly available sources and may not reflect the most current information.
• —Recommendations generated by the Service are algorithmic outputs designed to assist your research. They are not advice, and they should not be treated as authoritative guidance on how to vote.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying any information contained in your voting guide before making voting decisions.

Nothing on this Service — including any candidate recommendation, alignment score, research summary, or voter guide output — constitutes or should be construed as:

• —An endorsement of any candidate, political party, or ballot measure by Local Vote Research, Pisgah Strategy Advisors LLC, or any of their affiliates, officers, or employees;
• —A political opinion or position held by the Company;
• —A statement of fact about any candidate's positions, record, character, or qualifications; or
• —Legal, electoral, or professional advice of any kind.

The Service is designed to be nonpartisan. It evaluates candidates relative to your personally stated values — it does not apply the Company's political views, and the Company does not hold or express political views through the Service.

You may use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• —Use the Service to publish, distribute, or represent AI-generated candidate summaries as original reporting or factual news;
• —Represent any portion of a voting guide as an official endorsement, polling result, or statement of fact without appropriate attribution;
• —Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, misleading, or harmful to any candidate, voter, or third party;
• —Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract the Service's AI outputs for commercial purposes;
• —Create multiple accounts to circumvent any usage limitations.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Company will never sell, rent, or share your questionnaire responses, personal context, or voting guide content with candidates, political campaigns, political parties, or advertisers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PISGAH STRATEGY ADVISORS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Company does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PISGAH STRATEGY ADVISORS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM VOTING DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

In no event shall the Company's total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to access the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

The Service, including its design, code, and non-AI-generated content, is the property of Pisgah Strategy Advisors LLC. Candidate information compiled by the Service is drawn from publicly available sources and remains the property of its respective original publishers. You may use your personal voting guide for your own private research purposes only.

The AI uses publicly available web sources to research candidates. The Company does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any third-party sources used by the AI. The inclusion of information from a particular source does not constitute endorsement of that source.

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to the Service with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Henderson County, North Carolina.
